Why Bogota?
This City of 17 million, the capital of Columbia, South America is thirsty for the Word of God. There is a real hunger. People are searching! They need God! They need His Word. The evangelical Christian church has grown from 0.06% of the population in 1960 to an estimated 17% of the population in 2000.
How many Bibles are needed?
Last year Bibles in action provided 64,500 Bibles. They could easily use at least a further 140,000 Bibles per year if we were able to supply them. Our 7,000 will be great start!
